BI Group Begins Construction of Children’s Development and Creativity Center in Uralsk
Construction has begun on a modern Development and Creativity Center for children in the Zachagansk district of Uralsk. Designed to accommodate up to 600 visits per day, the new facility will offer a range of extracurricular programs in technology, science, and the arts. The project is being implemented by BI Group.
The two-story building will have a total floor area of 3,100 square meters and occupy a 2.18-hectare site. Construction is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2027.
The new center will provide children with opportunities to develop their creative and technical skills, explore modern technologies, and gain practical experience. One of the project’s key features is the integration of traditional extracurricular activities with engineering and digital technologies.
The facility will feature robotics and STEM laboratories, technical workshops, a 3D printing classroom, an aircraft and ship modeling workshop, and a virtual reality and web design studio. Children will be able not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also to apply it in practice by developing their own projects.
Creative facilities will include art and music studios, television and photography studios, a recording studio, a media center, and a dance hall. The center will also house an environmental education center, an auditorium, an early childhood development center, a sensory room, and a coworking space with an IT library.
“It is important to us that the results of our work benefit the city not only today but for many years to come. The new center will give children in Uralsk opportunities to develop their talents, learn modern technologies, and explore potential career paths. We recognize our responsibility for the quality of facilities like this and strive to create spaces that will serve generations of residents,” said Ruslan Mergalimov, Head of BI Group’s West Division.
The architectural concept includes spacious classrooms, extensive glazing, specialized workshops, and areas for social interaction, collaboration, and relaxation. The layout is designed to accommodate various learning formats, from individual creative activities to group educational projects.
The construction of the Development and Creativity Center will mark another contribution by BI Group to the development of social infrastructure in the West Kazakhstan Region. Once completed, the project will provide children in Zachagansk with greater access to extracurricular education, creative development, and opportunities to explore modern professions close to home.
