BI Group enters the U.S. market as part of its international growth strategy

BI Group has announced its entry into the U.S. market as part of its growth strategy. The company's international expansion, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high-quality standards, represents a key step in attracting long-term foreign investments to support the development of the holding and strengthen its position in the global construction industry rankings.

The financing of projects will be carried out through the attraction of long-term foreign investments via an investment fund listed on the Astana International Exchange (AIX) within the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). BI Group will contribute its extensive expertise, advanced technologies, proprietary IT solutions, a skilled team, and the rights to its trademark to support project implementation.

The projects will be executed in partnership with local developer Habitat Group. This year marks the launch of three residential complexes: Season One, Parkside, and Millux Place.

As part of its international growth strategy, the holding has undertaken extensive preparatory work. A critical milestone in this process was the assignment of an international credit rating of BB with a stable outlook to its subsidiary, BI Development, by Fitch Ratings. This rating underscores the company’s financial stability and resilience, as well as its readiness to execute large-scale projects in highly developed countries.

In July 2024, BI Group became a corporate client of Citi Bank, gaining access to cutting-edge financial services and tools essential for effective project management and support of its international expansion efforts.

To reinforce its position in Central Asia and enhance the quality of its projects, BI Group plans to actively leverage international expertise. The key objectives of entering global markets include attracting foreign investments, facilitating knowledge exchange, and transferring advanced technologies for implementation in domestic projects.

By studying innovative construction practices and technologies in the U.S. and other developed countries, the holding aims to significantly strengthen the construction industry in Central Asia, improve the quality of its workforce, and introduce modern engineering solutions.
