A Revolutionary IT Tool to Enhance Land Bank Management for the Holding

The team at BI Innovation has developed a unique internal product, Land Planner—an innovative digital tool for managing land assets. This tool aims to help businesses improve efficiency in working with land plots, minimize risks, and make well-informed investment decisions. The product's creators—Artur Bekmukhanbetov, Kaisar Onlabayev, Diyar Baysalov, and Ainur Utemisova—have already registered its copyright with the National Institute of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Land plots are key assets for strategic planning, investment, and construction. Previously, the accounting and analysis of land assets were conducted manually, using multiple non-integrated systems without the ability to visualize data on maps. This process complicated data collection, led to errors, inefficient asset management, and missed opportunities.
Land Planner solves this issue by creating a unified ecosystem for managing land banks, providing up-to-date data, analytics, and strategic planning tools.
The product is tailored for the corporate asset department (project accounting and planning), accounting and tax departments (automated calculations and accuracy of charges), investment department (market value analysis of land plots), engineering network development department (infrastructure planning), and company leadership (making informed decisions about new products, acquisitions, and asset disposal).
Key advantages of Land Planner include: visualization of land plots on maps at all stages of their lifecycle, along with an analysis of development prospects for land and engineering networks; integration capabilities with government registries for automated asset accounting; a dashboard for strategic planning and asset valuation; a targeted 30% reduction in non-liquid plots by 2027; control over lease agreements, tax payments, and market revaluations.
The pilot version of Land Planner was tested in Q4 2024, with the first version launched in January 2025. The product's ongoing development and integration with other information systems will continue through 2027. The system enables companies to not only efficiently manage their land banks but also increase asset profitability through analysis and strategic planning.
