Public voting for the Grand Prix of the “Zhuldyzai” festival is underway in Kazakhstan

Since May 5, online voting has been underway in Kazakhstan to determine the winner of the Grand Prix of the 20th Republican “Zhuldyzai” Creativity Festival for children with special needs. The voting will close on June 1. Every resident of the country can take part in the voting at fest.juldyzai.kz. The contenders for the Grand Prix are the first-place laureates selected by a professional jury based on the results of the Republican stage of the competition.
This year, “Zhuldyzai” celebrates its 20th anniversary. According to the organizers, the anniversary edition of the festival has brought together a record number of participants — over 6,000 children from all regions of Kazakhstan. Out of them, 1,370 young performers advanced to the finals. In total, 528 applications were reviewed across the following categories: vocal performance, choreography, instrumental performance, and song interpretation through sign language.
“This anniversary festival was especially meaningful for us. Every child is deserving of recognition, and choosing the winners proved to be an incredibly challenging task. Public voting gives the entire nation a chance to have its say and honor those who truly touched our hearts.” said Project Director Almagul Salimbayeva.
The winners will be announced at the official Gala Concert on June 1 at the “Zhekpe-Zhek” Martial Arts Palace in Astana. This event will serve as the culmination of the festival week, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the project.
It is worth noting that the “Zhuldyzai” Festival is implemented with the support of the BI Group Corporate Foundation “BI-Zhuldyzai.” For the past two decades, it has been the country’s only platform empowering children with special needs to showcase their creative talents and be truly seen and heard.
The organizers invite everyone to support young talents and submit their vote for the finalists:
“Every vote is a source of inspiration for those who overcome limitations and prove each day that dreams really do come true.”
